Taamrat, Emmanuel
(1898-1963)
   Ethiopian educator. Born in Gondar, he went with Jacques FaMovich to France and later studied at the Rabbinical College in Florence. From 1921 he worked at a kibbutz in Palestine. In 1923 he went to Ethiopia with Faitlovich and estab-lished a teacher-training school in Addis Ababa. He later worked for the immigration of Ethiopian Jews to Israel.
